Trees are carbon storage experts.  They take in carbon dioxide from the air, and store it in their wood, roots, and leaves. Did you know that one simple measurement can give you an estimate of how much carbon a tree stores? We’ll measure trees and make these estimates, and talk about the role of trees and forests in reducing global warming.
