Meet Hannah, our newly appointed Volunteer Coordinator for the Paleontological Research Institution (PRI) and Cayuga Nature Center (CNC)! Hannah joined the team in February as part of visitor services and recently transitioned into the role of volunteer coordinator.

A 2018 grad from Ithaca College with a BA in Anthropology, Hannah’s favorite part of living in Ithaca has been exploring local trails and preserves, so working at the Nature Center has been a pretty great fit.

Want to get to know Hannah even more? Volunteer! We are currently seeking volunteers for the Fall, specifically at the Cayuga Nature Center for animal volunteers, as well as Fall clean up. Animal volunteers do not require any prior experience, however must have their own transportation, and be committed to at least one four-hour shift, once per week (Monday - Thursday.)

For the fall clean up, we are seeking to host a one-time, outdoor group event to do groundskeeping at CNC (wood chipping, trail clean up and garden bed prepping.)
