A Heartfelt Thank You From The Paleontological Research Institution

The Paleontological Research Institution would like to express our sincere thanks to all who contributed to the success of our 20th-anniversary event, on September 30, 2023. We saw over 300 visitors on the day and enjoyed getting a chance to engage with members of our community. Your support and involvement have been invaluable, and we are deeply appreciative of your participation. We also extend our gratitude to our dedicated staff and volunteers, whose commitment to science education has been the cornerstone of our success and who made the celebration possible. We are immensely thankful for your hard work and dedication.

A special acknowledgment goes to the Cornell University Department of Food Science for creating a unique ice cream experience in support of the reimagined exhibit, Layers of Life, in the Lodge at the Cayuga Nature Center, scheduled to open in 2025.

To our cherished community, whether you have been with us since the beginning or joined us along the way, your presence and support have left a mark. From inquisitive schoolchildren to dedicated researchers, passionate volunteers, and enthusiastic visitors, each one of you has played a role in shaping the Museum of the Earth into the institution of knowledge and curiosity it is today. Your enthusiasm for learning and exploration has been the driving force behind our mission, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.

Additionally, we extend our sincere appreciation to Wegmans for their generous sponsorship of this event and our other community programs. Wegmans' commitment to community development and education has allowed us to extend our outreach, offering meaningful experiences to visitors of all ages.

To everyone who has been a part of our journey, whether through visits, donations, or sponsorships, your contributions have made a significant impact. As we embark on the next chapter of the Museum of the Earth, we do so with immense gratitude for the past and with excitement for the future. Together, we will continue to learn, discover, and grow, fostering a deeper understanding of the world around us.

With heartfelt appreciation,

The Paleontological Research Institution
